Swiss Athletic Society
Swiss Athletic Society of Los Angeles was established in 1936.
Our focus is to keep the Swiss tradition of competitive sport shooting alive. The Schweizer Schiesssportverband in Switzerland has a history that dates to 1824 and Swiss Athletic Society is determined to uphold that history here in Los Angeles. We meet twice a month at Burr Canyon where we bring our guns and have our own shooting pit. Recently, we have redesigned our targets, so they are now electronic targets, and we now have our own club house. We regularly attend shooting competitions where we represent Switzerland in competition with other organizations.
